The ultra-fast T1 aperture and close min. focusing distance enables the lens to produce buttery smooth and refined bokeh rendering. 9-blade circular aperture mechanism contributes to a pleasing round bokeh when the lenses are used wide-open. Minimal Focus Breathing
Focus breathing refers to the shifting of angle of view of a lens when changing the focus point. When looking through the viewfinder or watching the image on the screen, the image will turn out like expanding or contracting. This effect will be distracting and undesirable. The Mitakon T/1.0 series lenses are designed to suppress the degree of this effect to the minimal, allowing focus pull without changing compositions.

A unified front diameter of 17, 25, 35mm lenses and gear position make the work of focus motor and matte box easier that operators are free from frequent re-adjustment of the settings.
